Dear Mail Artists, friends and linguists of the world,

The Internet has networked millions of people all over the world and there has never been a

better opportunity in developing a language that will ultimately universalize languages.

You are invited to contribute to the "One Language One World" project by writing, illustrating,

drawing, painting or doodling your thoughts and ideas and send the works by

February 28th, 2001 via email to aocaamw@yahoo.com or by snail mail to:

displayed (virtual/terrestrial) installation at the Art Museum of the Guangdong Province,

Gunagchau, China (as part of an exhibition entitled "Virtual Future" curate by Gu Zhenqing

to be held on March 2001). A web page will be launched to display all the contributions at

http://www.geocities.com/aocaamw/one.htm  (currently under construction).

It is my plan to continue to explore the "One Language One World" concept; therefore,

the web page will be updated frequently. For information about previous interactive art projects

Well you may ask!  I wonder if mailart is "in decline" with increasing
electronic mail?

On the other hand, I have been as prolific as ever during year 2000 (for instance, view

new stamps on
http://www.sedang.hm - SEDANG;
http://fly.to/KempLand - KEMP LAND;
http://welcome.to/UpperYafa - UPPER YAFA;
http://change.to/OA - OCCUSSI-AMBENO.
http://get.to/ICIS - the ICIS, the "United Nations" of the Fifth World. )

And many other mailartists I am in touch with are also very active. Have you seen the new

book just out from Italy by James Felter?  Titled "Artistamps", it is a fine tome, well printed

and well designed, and with a mass of material.  I guest-wrote one chapter, which I have put

on the web along with details of the book.  To view my chapter, please try this link:
http://www.angelfire.com/art/okusi/fel.htm

Are you doing mailart yourself Charles, or is this just an academic inquiry?

With modern technology, stamps have become much easier for everyone to do.

Try some mailart today!

Why don't you mention your snailmail address, so I can send you some of my output?

cheers, Bruce.

Subject: My Artistamps at the Rubberstamp Museum

Hello friends
I just discovered that the ever-active John Held Jr. & Piccasso Gaglione have added two of my

artistampsheets to the Mail Art section of their rubberstampmuseum.com.

Go to www.rubberstampmuseum.com and click on Mail Art and the Artistamps to see two of

my stampsheets circa 1994 or so: one called "Networker" is an image I found of the great

information science pioneer Vannevar Bush done in red toner and the other is
"Xerobibliography: Cultural Research Issue" in blue and black toner.
I was pleasantly suprised to find my work on the website and that they are asking $75 for each!
Have a gander at www.rubberstampmuseum.com for yourself.
Cheers,  RA

contactarme, bajo braumueller@crosses.net
